I started Grass Frens out of my own need to find places in Italy where I could get grass-fed meat, raw milk, and other nutrient-dense foods. This is also part of my desire to remove proxies from the food source, by connecting directly with the farmers, shaking their hands and befriend them.

Grass Frens is also a place for those who are interested in starting their own farm, as I am. Alongside my own search, I thought, 'why not make it easier for others too?' So here we are. Grass Frens is all about sharing what I find along the way: from a dashboard with Grass Frens approved farms, to a collection of resources to learn more about how to make a step into starting a farm.
